All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. Return Policy & Conditions of Sale |

We are committed to providing the best customer satisfaction possible. We will gladly replace any defective item/s that are covered under the manufacturers warranty. All items that are returned for credit will be subject to restocking fee of up to 20%. Within 30 DAYS of receipt of your order, you may return products that:
- Are in their original packaging
- Have original manufacturer information
- Are not used, installed, or disassembled
- Are not damaged due to incorrect installation
- Do not having missing parts, hardware or instructions
The following orders are not returnable:
- Custom or special orders
- Automotive repair manuals
- Electrical Parts and Components (Such as: ECU's, Push Button Units, relays, air mass meters, Electronic Modules etc)
Core Returns
- Cores must be returned within the 45 day return period.
- All fluid must be drained from the core.
- To receive credit, cores must be re-buildable, complete and meet current eligibility of manufacturer's specifications. Importec will issue customer credit for the current commercial value not to exceed original purchase core price. Only cores sold by Importec will be accepted for credit. Core value will be credited to account after Importec accepts & approves the core is in a rebuildable condition.
- All cores must be returned in the original manufacturer packing, shipped and freight prepaid.
Damaged Products
If your product has been damaged in shipment, please call us or email us within 24 hours of receipt of your product to begin the returns process. We'll then contact you via email with further instructions on filing your claim.
Guarantee
Importec warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months. For more information on the warranty coverage on a product brand, please email us at sales@importec.com. If you have received a defective product, please review the manufacturer information included with your new or remanufactured product. This limited warranty covers the product and does not include labor or materials not furnished by the manufacturer/distributor or any charges for such labor, materials or consequential damages. Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. The product is intended to be installed by certified professional repair personnel. Importec assumes no liability for the product or vehicle from improper installation techniques, defective products, incorrectly ordered or incorrectly supplied products. The limited warranty also does not apply to any product that has not been:
- Altered outside the manufacturer specifications.
- Subject to misuse, abuse, negligence, or operating conditions other than those for which the product was designed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
- Physically damaged.
The original purchaser must submit all warranty claims with valid proof of purchase, as well as a repair order stating the defective part was found to be defective by a certified technician. The product will be sent to Importec freight prepaid by the customer for inspection. If it is determined the product is defective, the purchaser's recourse is limited to replacement of the product by Importec, or credit issued to the customer's credit card account if the product is no longer available. The policy for Importec does not provide for any labor, material, and/or shipping charges for the replacement of the product or the replacement performed. Prior to any return, a Return Authorization (RA) must be obtained from a salesperson. This number must appear visibly on the outside of the package or the item will be returned to the customer at their expense. RAs will be considered void if not received within the thirty days from date of initial purchase time frame.
Refunds
Refunds are issued within 3 to 4 weeks after we receive the item, to the same debit or credit card that was used for the initial purchase. Shipping charges incurred by Importec on all orders, including orders that received free ground shipping are not refundable.

Some states do not permit limitations or exclusions on warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
importec shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if importec has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Typographical Errors
In the event that a importec product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, importec reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. importec reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, importec shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by importec without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

importec may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to importec.
Miscellaneous
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of California, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of importec products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of importec products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. importec's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. importec may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.
Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a importec or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law.
